What are the weirdest street names in your town?

I think the number one for Atlanta has to be Boulevard. No, not “Boulevard Street” or anything like that. Not even “The Boulevard.” It’s called Boulevard. But here are some others I’ve come across, both downtown and in the surrounding suburbs:

Parkway Drive

Boring Road/Court/Way

Best Road

Winner’s Circle

Four Wheel Drive

Lee Street Connector (which I only mention because my GPS calls it “Lee Saint Con.”)

The By Way (Residents often file noise complaints due to the collective groans of passing drivers. Probably.)

US Auto Sales Boulevard (this road is literally just ~100' of exit ramp, without a single driveway or address on it, yet it’s shown on the exit sign instead of Hosea Road, which is the one it leads to)

And here’s the best of the best: In Suwanee, GA, there’s an entire subdivision with streets named after cars.

There’s also Interstate North Parkway and The Exchange. Both in the area of Marietta.

The silliest names I can think of in this area are Tunnel Road (because it has a tunnel) and Governor’s View Rd.

Friedrich Fick Straße. Fick is the German word for Fuck. Some people living in that street want it to be renamed after over 60 years.

The WA state beach community where my dad initially retired has a “Camero Ct” - yes, they spelled it that way. In the same neighborhood there is also “Bel Air”, “Nomad”, “Fleetwood”, “Skylark”, “Riviera”.

For groan-worthy, there’s a “Tennis Ct” and “Lois Ln” in the small town area where my mom lives.

“Magic” Not Magic Street or Magic Road. Just “Magic”. FWIW, very few streets here have Road/Blvd/Ave/etc, they are just names. I have a friend that lives in a neighborhood where everything is shady: Shady Leaf, Shady Hill, Shady Winds. I have no idea what makes a wind shady. I used to live on Lion Forrest, which was off of Leopard Path which connected to the main road via Bobcat Pass. Other names in the subdivision: Lion King, Tiger Chase, Cougar Country, Cub Haven.

We have some other pretty cool themed neighborhoods - there is one that is all famous athletes: Babe Ruth St, Mickey Mantle Dr, Bart Starr St, Knute Rockne St, etc. and one that is horse racing themed: Secretariat Ln, Preakness Ln, Pimlico Ln, Steeplechase Ln, Equestrian (no Ln) and Triple Crown.

In my area there’s a Naughty Pines (what?), Dis Dam Road (it’s narrow, steep, and generally awful), Lane Road, and Seven Pines Road. Seven Pines sounds innocuous until you try to give your address on Seven Pines Road. “Yes, I’m at 20 Seven Pines Road.” “Okay, 27 Pines Road?” “No, Number 20. Seven Pines Road.” Who’s on First? Tomorrow.

Up in Longmont there’s a “100 Year Party Court”. The same neighborhood has a “Tempted Ways Drive” and “Neon Forest Circle”.

By far, the most annoying is when they put North, West, East, or South in the street name, and it’s not directional, or the name changes based on what part of the street you are on.

There’s a “Boulevard” in seaside nj. The town I just moved to in north jersey has a street that’s just called “The Crescent” that’s it no ave, no st., no rd.

There’s a point where Westview Drive intersects with itself. 3 way intersection where it doesn’t matter which way you go, you’re turning on to or continuing on Westview Drive.

There’s a Goah Way in my town. It’s pronounced exactly how you think.

There are also some eccentric, offbeat ones like Oysta Watcha Path, Machipscat Trail, and “Road to Great Neck” (not Great Neck rd)

For mine it’s probably Bear Chase Court. Apparently named for an actual event when they were building the neighborhood, but hey.

I still like one particular road in Williamsburg. There’s a road called News Road, and they rebuilt part of it on a new alignment, with the bypassed version now called Old News Road.
